CHRYSALIS

Chrysalis is an autobiographical short film which presents, from the autofiction, the story of a trans girl in a hard period of her life through which she is going through a personal change hindered by her mental state where she is hitting rock bottom. With difficulty getting out of bed, she will be meditating on her past, present and future while reliving different experiences, both her own and others, within a dreamlike journey: dreams, chimerical memories and a distorted reality. It is the odyssey through the darkness, the crossing of the threshold and a resurrection where she will have to let go of the most painful ties: her own shadows, having to forgive herself to be able to mature and get out of the chrysalis, out of her bed.
