Story

The documentary "Arandu Nhembo’e – Em Busca do Saber" follows young people in their quest for "nhanderekok" (the Guarani way of life) at the Yynn Moroti Werá village in the Biguaçu Indigenous Territory, Santa Catarina. The village's youth are constantly seeking true knowledge from the elders. In this short film, Alberto Alvares documents part of the preparations undertaken by Karai Wilson Moreira (from Passo Fundo) for the vision quest ceremony.
