Story
Section 4(1) of the Forest Act, B.E. 2484 (1941) defines “forest” as land that has not yet been acquired by any person under land law. Yet many ethnic groups in the country, including the Karen people of Kong Mong Tha community, have lived in the forest since before this law was enacted. They must therefore stand firm as “people of the forest” to preserve their identity and way of life. A creative work from the 20th Documentary Camp
